Garden Programming
4-H staff, volunteers, and special guests present story-telling,
arts & crafts, as well as schedule picnics and tours throughout the growing
season.
Garden Journals
Children receive a garden journal to record their garden’s progress. This helps
reinforce reading, writing, and math skills over the summer months.
Weather Station
Children have the opportunity to improve their math and reading skills by recording
weekly rainfall, temperature, and wind velocity.
Plant-A-Row for the Hungry
Youth not only receive but also share their bounty in this MSU Extension sponsored
