International Port of Entry
In 1952, The Department of Treasury deemed St. Clair County Airport an International Port of
Entry. An aircraft can clear U.S. Customs 24 hours a day 7 days a week by contacting the U.S.
Customs Border Protection at (810) 985-9541.
Transatlantic Port of Entry
In 2003, The U.S. Department of Agriculture deemed St. Clair County International Airport a Transatlantic
Port of Entry. In April 2015, the airport also took responsibility for the removal of regulated trash.
International Flights and Regulated Trash must contact the United States Customs and Border Protection,
Agriculture Inspection at (810) 989-8839 and the Airport at (810) 364-6890
24 hours prior to entry.
