For residential loads, the disposal fee is determined by the size, or volume of the load. Loads brought in a vehicle are assessed a flat fee for the load dependent on vehicle size. Loads in trailers are charged according to the actual size of that load.
For commercial loads, the truck is weighed on the landfill scale, and then re-weighed when it is leaving the landfill. The net weight of the refuse load weight is the amount the fee will be based upon. Click here to view the current published rate schedule. |
