To All Haulers Using Smiths Creek Landfill,

This letter is to remind you that your firm's 2021/2022 Solid Waste Hauler Permit(s), required to dispose of refuse at Smiths Creek Landfill, will expire.

You must renew your permit prior to the expiration date, as required by Ordinance No. 52, adopted by the St. Clair County Board of Commissioners on September 27, 1990, providing for the enforcement of the Solid Waste Management Plan Part 115 of PA 451.

You may renew your license at the Smiths Creek Landfill Office located at 6779 Smiths Creek Rd, Smiths Creek, MI 48074.

Vehicles which have not been previously licensed will receive a permit number and a sticker. Please refer to SECTION 160. 2 information, which explains how the sticker and permit numbers are to be displayed on the vehicle. If your vehicle was previously registered, your permit numbers will apply for 2021/2022, however you will receive a new sticker for 2021/2022. The sticker will read as follows:

The 2021/2022 Permit Application must be completed and submitted when obtaining permit.

SEND YOUR CHECK AND COMPLETED APPLICATION to:

Please make checks payable to St. Clair County Treasurer.
