Requesting Your Rights
As the victim of a crime you have rights under the Michigan Crime Victim’s
Rights Act. If we can be of assistance in explaining the court system, notifying
you of court dates, make counseling referrals, or help suggest other services
that you may find beneficial you must complete a Legal Rights Request form. On
the form you will be able to select which services you would like us to provide.
Changes in contact information must be communicated to the Victim’s Unit to
allow proper notification, you may email

Our office will not disclose your information to the defendant or the defense attorney.
