Grandparent Visitation

Pursuant to statute effective January 3, 2005, (Act No. 542, Public Acts of 2004), grandparents have been awarded VERY LIMITED possibility for visitation. A grandparent must retain an attorney and file an action in Circuit Court for grandparent visitation. Current orders awarding grandparent visitation are NOT enforceable.
